Scotsman Training Classes AnnouncedSouthern Refrigeration will be hosting two Scotsman training classes this year at the locations below. We are pleased to have Les Tatum, National Service Manager with Scotsman, present to conduct our classes. These classes will cover a variety of topics including Scotsman’s newest Prodigy Flaker ice machines and their Prodigy Cubers. Scotsman Ice Systems RecallScotsman has announced a voluntary recall affecting many of their Prodigy cuber ice machines manufactured from 2006 through 2009. Scotsman has learned that the harvest assist solenoid valve may fail and result in an electrical arc that can pose a fire hazard. A field retrofit kit has been made available to Scotsman distributors and we are currently sending these kits to those affected machines.
